I started my photography journey in high school. My dad had a digital camera that I started experimenting with. Later I joined the Navy and bought my first camera and went crazy shooting for command events and Christmas parties. After the Navy I went to Art School in San Francisco for photography at the Academy of Art University.

My style is classical. I'm deceptively funny, and I love making people laugh to make them look good in photos.

Say Hello

I actually combined the two when I went into the Navy. I worked on a aircraft carrier. So working around jets and being surrounded by water was pretty cool. But I knew I wanted more out of life than what the Navy had to offer. So I got out and went to the Academy of Art University in San Francisco for Photography.
Now I live in North Central Florida where I met my wife Emily. She had our baby boy Elijah and now we are living happily ever after.

Manuel: I usually do not enjoy long photography sessions, but Josiah made our photo shoot incredibly fun! He was very attentive to what I wanted, and gave lots of great ideas for pictures. He is also very professional, on time and communicative, so I had no issues working with him. I am incredibly satisfied!
